You need think about how to use this private url scheme any more.
What I most care about is "prefs://" which allow users to direct to system settings in the earlier version iOS 7, 8, 9.
I think the hacking method can be workaround this limitation. but I don't know whether the ipa can pass apple submission review.
and of cause I saw a lot of launcher application on iOS 10 has use the similar workaround.
